Cover designed for Phil Harlan's EP Stabilize.

 

The idea was to portray a man who is steeped in an acoustic world suddenly being transformed into something electronic. From the artist himself: "That is partly where the title, "Stabilize", comes from: a quest to find stability in my music between the "old" world of acoustic music and the new world of electronic music."

The overall feel intended for the artwork was electronic psychedelia, the art was also inspired by the movie Blue Sunshine.

The idea for the single cover was to portray someone that is becoming the universe in the explosion of a collapsing star. There's also an allusion to the multi-armed forms of the Hindu gods, specifically Vishnu.
